La Cocette is a beautiful specimen of the Holsteiner breed. Standing at 17.4 hands, she is the queen of La Stall and all the other horses know it. One would think such a horse would be hard to handle...not so with Cocette. She is a giant teddy bear! She is the most social, affectionate horse who loves attention, but never demands it with irritation or jealousy. Along with beauty and personality, this horse is an amazing jumper. Born in 1998, she competes as a five year old since she took a year off to be mommy to La Quinto. She and Sofie made it all the way to the finals at the 4 year old championships in Flyinge 2003. She began 2004 jumping 1.10 meters with so little effort and nothing but clear rounds, so Sofie moved her up to 1.20 meters. No Problem. Clear rounds again. On May 29th in Vinslöv, Sofie and La Cocette were the only ones in the 1.20 meter class for young horses to have a clear round qualifying them to Falsterbo championships in July. La Cocette Updates : March 19th 2006 - In her first competition with new rider Jörgen Larsson, La Cocette placed jumping 1.20 meters. They seem to make a great team, and they really have a promising future together. |
